Braden Liu
Braden Liu has been ballroom dancing for 16 years, competing in American Smooth and International Ballroom and Latin. Braden has been teaching private lessons, group classes, and technique classes for 7 years. He is currently teaching and working with the prestigious Fred Astaire Dance Studios franchise in Charlottesville. Over the course of his teaching career, Braden has been trained under the world renowned Fred Astaire as well as DVIDA education program to improve his technical skill and understanding as well as his teaching techniques and methods. Over the years he has choreographed numerous competitive and showcase routines for his students.
During his competitive career, Braden with his partner at the time received the 10 Dance Champion title at the BYU Dancesport Festival. During that time, Braden also participated in the Brigham Young University Youth Ballroom Program for 7 years, helping his formation team win several United States National Amatuer Danceport Championships. Braden has primarily coached with Michael Johnson and Rick Robinson, along with several other professional instructors in the industry including but not limited to, Igor and Irina Suvorov, Yulia Zagoruychenko and Riccardo Cocchi, Nadia Eftedal, Paul Holmes, Ron Montez, Karina Smirnoff, and Hunter and Maria Johnson.
